MDE has shared that the state still has not received notification from the federal agency what the allocation for the state will be. Once they receive the allocation, MDE has 8-10 weeks to communicate to schools what their initial allocations will be for the 24-25 school year.
The title applications themselves are to be available in May to schools through MEGS. The applications are due 6.30.2024. There are some steps you can take today to start chipping away for what will be due at the end of June.
Log into MEGS.
Upon getting to the landing page, you should see data for 2025 automatically loaded. Two boxes; Central Data Collection and McKinney Vento
In the Central Data Collection box, click on the 2025 hyperlink.
This will open to 7 tabs.

Review information. If there are changes needed the IOWA must do this through MDE-ORG Site

Assuming no issues are found, submit to MDE.
